my story.

When I was in high school, every night at 10pm, I would turn on A&E’s Evening At The Improv. The seeds of my life were planted each night watching comedians. They appeared to be having the time of their life on stage. I wanted to be apart of this world.

I was instantly hooked on Stand Up and would regularly daydream about being introduced as a “comedian” on the late night talk shows. The comedians I watched come to light on late night comedy shows then went on to become the biggest sit-com stars of my youth. Robin Williams on Mork and Mindy, Rosanne, Tim Allen, Seinfeld and so many more. My life plan was clear! Find a way to become a comedian. Once you get really good at Stand Up, they give you your own TV show. Later in life, I would become a regular weekly performer at that same Improv that sowed those early seeds.

I have many gratifying experiences over many years in entertainment. From my early days at open mics in New Orleans and making local car commercials to shooting my own TV series and playing The Chicago Theater to a crowd of 3600.

To keep this simple, here are some of my favorite highlights from the journey so far.

When I was in my early 20’s, I wrote and produced a sitcom pilot in Louisiana on the LSU campus with help from the LSU TV production crew that lead to a job writing for Brandon Tartikoff. Brandon ran NBC and brought hits like Cheers and Seinfeld to the air. It was a thrill to be connected to such a brilliant mind.

In 2002, I appeared alongside Roy Wood Jr. and Arsenio Hall on “Star Search”. This year I also made a guest appearance on the sitcom “The Parkers” starring, my friend from the comedy world, Academy Award winner Monique.

Touring all 50 states and many countries abroad as a headlining comedian has truly been one of my greatest joy’s of all. There is nothing like being in the flow state with a great crowd in some small club in anywhere America.

I’ve currently got 5 live comedy albums playing on the Sirius/XM comedy channels that represent some of those shows over the years.

In 2005, I appeared at the Montreal comedy festival and went home with a development deal from TBS which lead to the comedy special “Pit Stop Comedy” that aired on TBS.

In 2008 and 2009, I toured with comedian Rodney Carrington performing in some of the largest Theaters and arena’s in the country.

In 2010, while on tour filming the TV show “Drinking Made Easy” I produced and shoot my own Stand Up Comedy special. Producing and shooting my own special was definitely one of my most enormous accomplishments.

The next years got busy with TV hosting and steady touring. I hosted 2 shows for the Outdoor Channel. The first was a show called “Mudslingers”. We traveled week to week hitting up the biggest Mudparks in the country. The other show was called “Marc an Todd’s crazy clips”. I hosted the show with Todd my stuffed talking pig on the wall. I also wrote and created this show. It was a video clip show that showcased the funniest clips from the Outdoor world. Another hosting job I loved doing was “Smoked” for Destination America.

Recently, I have entered into a new modern age of comedy and gone viral with 100’s of million’s of views and over 1 million social media followers. As a result, In 2017 I shot a comedy pilot and in 2019 was featured in the Trailer Park Boys video game.

It’s been a long fulfilling journey. I can’t wait to see what comes next.
