I grew up laughing at the oddities and wonder of Steve. We'd be ready to hit the bars for drinks and he'd yell out, "I'm goin' to jail tonight and I'm takin' y'all with me!"

Steve and I met down at the Amite River in South Louisiana. We'd spend the weekends sunburnt, drunk and trying to invent something new to pull behind the boat. We partied down there so much all our clothes were dyed river water brown. We spent most of our Saturdays and Sundays right here at The Dock down from my Maw Maw's camp.
One weekend after the river, I heard the now famous "I know my rights" for the first time. We stopped off at our neighborhood strip club Southern Cumfort to see some river rat hookers we ran with at the time. Steve was wasted and passed out on the dumper in the girls bathroom. When the cops drug him through the club kicking and screaming, "I know my rights" all our friends died laughing and haven't stopped since. There are many other little phrases you hear Steve say too.... Dang it!, Do it!, What the hell? And of course it's always someone else's fault. "I didn't do it!!"
Steve always had a naive ignorance around the police. Once we got pulled over and Steve, so wasted, started ordering food thinking we had made it to the Taco Bell and the voice demanding his attention was someone offering Taquitos. Steve has been arrested so many times he is the only civilian to have a locker at the Jail. This all started when a buddy of mine from home passed me Steve's Lawn Mower DUI video from '05. That was over 23 million views ago on the interenet. Steve's arrest videos have been seen on "The O'Reilly Factor", CNN and Showbiz Tonight just to name a few.

Steve has been surprised by this sudden notoriety. The local country radio station recently had Steve on to discuss all his new found fame.

People Love Steve
No matter how much Steve really doesn't "know his rights", people love him. The video has been commented on by Millions. Here are just a few. Click on this thumbnail to see the full image.Steve was first seen in the following video from 2005, his first DUI on the Lawn Mower. The big lesson here is you can't pee with pepper spray in your eyes.

After the explosion of views the first arrest video received, I had to find more. With help from a friend at the State Police I tracked down these more recent returns to jail. I am just not sure Steve really knows his rights.

Steve takes absent minded duh to a whole new level. He calls the cops on his wife, who as many of you know is a real special treat. She is taking a break from whipping Steve's ass when the cops show up and Steve is so anxious to send his old lady off to jail that he forgets about the joint hanging from his lips. Smoke much Steve? Enjoy.....
